Features
HouseMouse is a private AI household assistant that you and your partner both text on WhatsApp. It asks who’s cooking, keeps the grocery list, remembers the bills and the upkeep, and never does anything without a yes from one of you.
One Mouse, a hat for every job
These are the small, constant jobs of a shared home, the ones that usually live in one person’s head. The Mouse takes them on, whatever the hat, and keeps them in one place you can both see.
Dinner
Each morning the Mouse asks who’s cooking. One of you claims it in a word, and you both know by lunch.
For example, you text: me, tacos
Groceries
One list for the two of you. Text what you’re out of, and the Mouse remembers the staples you always forget.
For example, you text: we’re out of oat milk
Upkeep and repairs
Every maintenance job in your Home Plan, from furnace filters to gutters, with a reminder before it’s due. It remembers each appliance’s model and warranty for the day something breaks.
For example, you text: done, filter’s changed
Bills and shared costs
Every bill with its due date, and a ledger of who paid what, split by your household’s rule with one running balance. It never moves money.
For example, you text: I paid the internet bill, $65
Who’s doing what
Chores and routines with an owner, or taking turns, so the list stops living in one person’s head.
For example, you text: can we take turns on the bins?
Paperwork
Send a receipt, a manual or an inspection report. It reads it into your home’s record: appliances, warranties, what needs fixing.
For example, you text: dishwasher-receipt.pdf
It lives in the chat you already share
HouseMouse runs in WhatsApp. Each of you gets a direct chat with the Mouse, and a group chat for the two of you is coming later. There’s nothing new to install and no app to remember to open.
When you want the whole picture, a simple web page shows your Home Plan, your lists and what the Mouse remembers, and either of you can correct it.

Tuesday
Private, and it always asks first
It asks before it acts
When the Mouse wants to change something, it asks first. You see what it will do, and nothing happens until one of you says yes.
Private by construction
The Mouse runs on private-model inference. It never asks for your email inbox or your account logins, and it keeps your region and postal code, never your street address.
Fair to both of you
You share one record that you can both see and correct. In a shared chat the Mouse never says which of you did what, except who owes whom on shared costs.
Waiting for a yes
Move the furnace filter change to Saturday?
It’s due Thursday, and one of you mentioned you’re both away that day.
Either of you can answer. Nothing changes until one of you does.
Try it with your home
Free during the invite-only beta. About five minutes to set up, and no app to install.
